This podcast series explores a game-changing understanding of the human mind that can increase the performance, resourcefulness and well-being in any business or organisation.
In this episode Piers chats with Stephen Desborough. Stephen worked as a financial trader in the City of London, and recognised the significance of the role of the mind in performance. He then discovered this game changing new understanding of the mind, that changed everything. He is now an experienced coach and facilitator of the understanding we call the principles behind Quality of Mind.
In this episode we discuss:
Stephen's own story of how he found this previously 'invisible' understanding, and how it is now his sole focus with clients.
The simplicity of it - demystifying flow state.
The benefits of slowing down on the inside, to get more done on the outside.
Difference between believing and ‘seeing’.
How to learn this, compared to learning other things.
What is the downside? Nothing to lose….no risk….

Helen Amery, herself already a successful coach in more conventional approaches, has kindly agreed to share her experiences as she embarks on a 1-1 Quality of Mind coaching programme with Piers.

What has developed further since our interview in part 2, how is this understanding impacting Helen's work and life
How Helen's initial relief that her life is more 'buoyant' (part 2) has reduced, because now there is less 'down' to come back from
How her understanding and grounding in this has become embodied, obvious and in her 'DNA'
How Helen has now dropped her twice daily mediation habit
How surprisingly effortless it has been to make the transition to working with clients from this understanding
